The texts were independently written in Uzbek. Practical recipes and illustrations are distinguished from cultural and historical evidence.

Real footage

“Cooking Plov” — Lokk1y. Original video · CC BY-SA 4.0. Audio was removed, size and format were adapted, and frames were extracted for the scrolling sequence. The adapted media is also distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Artistic images

The photographic-style images of palov and Samarkand were created for this project with AI. They are not documentary photographs of a regional recipe. New dish and ingredient images were created in a consistent photographic style based on verified defining ingredients.
